we were supposed to have a BBq & bakar a whole lamb or goat which we were supposed to steal from a nearby kampung :-) however, the "supposed"s tak jadi & we ended up being lazy & using our teppanyaki instead ^_^

sweet & sour fish mix from a pack

the sampat po came home with lots of maggi items from a competition she entered at The Mall. They gave her a prize, thanking her for not burning down the mall (she entered a flambe thingie)...

so we decided to give it a try

Fry the fillets... all the flour will cloud the oil...

drain on paper towel

throw all diced items together with the mix & water, then coat the fishies...

Well, I'd say that this packet thingie is not all that convenient cos it's rather easy to make sweet sour fish sauce from scratch. It does not taste great either!!!! has a fake kinda ginger taste to it :( we still have tonnes of fried rice perencah & black pepper perencah too man

Fi Fi the house plant

Long time ago in my palace, my ah ma gave me house plant. not sure what it was but it had a thick stem, thick leaves & pink flowers. I named it FiFi :-) not long after, FiFi fell sick (i watered it too much) & had to go back to ah ma's house. Ah Ma eventually saved FiFi but FiFi never made it back here (ah ma was suspected FiFi was being ill treated!!!)

Subsequently, all house plants were named in FiFi :-) i've had numerous FiFis... even those i kept in the office during my training were called FiFi & had a small tag with FiFi on it ^_^ heheh... anyway, yesterday i went to pahlawan....

i saw horsie!!!

& i brought home my latest edition FiFi ;-) heheh


best part is this FiFi "doesn't require watering" (it says so on the box)

now there's no risk of FiFi drowing or dehydrating ^_^v this is by far the best FiFi ever!!!! (",) heheheh

eastern creative recipe cafe

yesterday, the sampat po woke up in the afternoon as usual & we headed to Pahlawan about 1pm! i wanted to eat 50% off belt sushi at sushi ya but she did not wanna eat sushi! babi... then upon paying for her meds at guardian, i realised i did not replenish my wallet!!!! i went out with RM22 =.="

me, not knowing i have only RM22 :(

so in the end, the piggy po did not wanna lend me some of her $$$$s so we couldn't afford a meal in pahlawan unless we were to eat McD. we ended up at Eastern Creative Recipe :-)

yesterday was anything BUT ordinary... for some reason, mummy got lazy & decided that we eat out the whole day :-) hehehe. however, i have no idea if that was the case for breakfast as well as i wasn't awake at that time... ^_^v

they came home super late with 3 of these...

好和香 is a dim sum restaurant (hao he xiang ~ good & fragrant) hahah!!! anyways, it's at kota laksamana & opens at night only. they have the best wu kok in the world! they were having an anniversary promo (15 years) buy 10 get 1 free ;-)

indeed she is crazy. the dim sum guy asked her if she wanted chili, yong tau fu type of chili (the stuffed chili with fish paste) & she thought it was chili sauce! then she said the guy never bring her chili sauce & she wondered where the yong tau fu chili appeared from. the guy even asked if she wanted bitter gourd. secretly she was wondering "since when bitter gourd was made into a sauce???" hahah!!
