Qian Li Xiang Bak Kut Teh

it was the oldies's anniversary on 5th May... their 26th anniversary. Anyway, we, the youngies, decided to give them a treat. Cheapluckshenai wanted to treat them to odean beef noodles, then she decided that duck mee would be even cheaper! but we already had duck mee the other day so we decided on beef noodles. I was gonna suggest thai food but cheapluckshenai was only willing to spend RM10 =_=

when we went to odean, however...... tang dang dang!!!! TuTuP.... so drove around aimlessly in a big circle until Big D suggested we go to eat Bak Kut Teh (bkt) in a shop from klang which just opened....

the menu is pasted on the wall, but so high tech man... they use PDA ordering system!

the oldies really loved it, even thought we ordered single portion for all, it was quite filling. the mini pots were filled to the brim with meat, quite generous... their cooking has the "homestyle" feel as it was thick, flavoursome & not watered down. mummy said we will be back!!! total bill came up to RM42, no taxes.

Duck Mee

my family likes duck, roast duck, braised duck, stuffed duck, this duck, that duck & of course we like duck mee :-) we go to the one at lorong panjang (i think) cos they sell their duck mee with sliced duck, not shredded ^_^v

in the end, the fella used greese-proof paper instead of parcment, so, you get the picture, i had to google "can humans eat paper" lol... then che-che the super shih tzu saved the day by coming up with a brilliant idea & we did have macaroons after all :-) sorta...
