shanghai rice cakes ~ 上海炒年糕

this year for CNY, Long Feng featured fried rice cakes as part of the CNY menu. When i went to tesco, i found it on the shelves :-) Big D said that the only time he had them was when my Gua Ma (great grandma) brought them back from Shanghai "centuries ago"... so into the trolly it went!

only cost RM3 something

Big D said it was like gua ma brought it again, lol... mummy said it was quite nice. there was a tiny bit left & when i wanted to eat it for tea time, i found fly eggs in it =_= so sad... bloody fly!
