chocolate pudding from a can

Aunty suet fun gave me a canned chocolate pudding one of my visits to her place... she also gave me a plum pudding. it was given before cny & has been sitting on our coffee table ever since.

so we finally decided to try it out today

had to boil it for half an hour...

it had sauce too...

honestly, i could make a better one with less the effort. a cookbook i got from yong hwee years ago has the most simple recipe for self saucing chocolate pudding & i prefer that version to this...

yee sang salad

we went to jusco today & something caught our attention... 2 packs of yee sang for RM5! yes, RM5... it would usually cost RM19.88 during CNY season for a pack suitable for 10 pax... in Long Feng, it'll cost RM68++, at the least... so wat the heck? since it's only RM5 for TWO, we bought a pack :-) enough of tossing though, i decided to make a salad instead :-)

Yung Lai Siang laksa

we were supposed to go for duck noodles... we even went early, like before lunch time & they were all SOLD OUT!!!!! heck! what pigs eat duck noodles for breakfast??!!?!?!?!? so we wondered what to eat & then Big D suggested coming here to eat Laksa since ,ummy wanted to eat laksa. apparently, while sending me to work, after dropping me off, Big D ta powed this laksa to try.... it's beside Putra hospital, opposite st francis Church...

so we headed there...

mine is bee hoon, all soupy noodles must be bee hoon!!! except assam laksa ya!!!

the laksa is yummier than the prawn mee. the soup is considered quite thick for stall bought laksa. it's RM3 for small & RM3.50 for big. they sell curry puffs & other puffs as well... we packed some home & devoured it before i could take a pic :-) haha!!

remember my doggy chai chai? good news, now you can all be his fan :-) mwahahahahha!!!! actually, he's very kesian... his mama & gung gung have went away for operation & left him all by himself... she (mama) put my mumzilla in charge of looking after him :-) he lacks friends & stands at the gate & makes doggy noise. he's been alone for about 2 or 3 months now...

Me & the brat went to megamall today :-) we waited in the super duper hot sun & almost melted :( din bring my camera so used my phone camera. but dunno why the pictures like become worse & worse... =.=

well, since canton - i got no xiao long pao, decided to go across to din tai fung just to eat xiao long bao :-) hehehe

i din even look at the menu, just order only :-)

it goes with sweet vinegar & ginger, i loved the ginger, killed the pork taste ;)

then we spent anpther half an hour waiting for the babi ktm =.= i had to get down at Kuala Lumpur station to take the bus home from pudu. 1st time getting down there, looked like i was waling in a giant cage man... walk so long & all there was to see were fences, walls & more walls & fences!!! just follow the crowd lo... ended up taking an escalator & then end up at a sky bridge & kena cross road!!!! so many busses there, lucky din kena langgar :(
