sugar cane drink
after having the sugar cane drink in genting, i wanted to make my own :-) obviously i needed sugar cane =_= there's a place near my house which has it & i'm hatching a plan to steal harvest it but to no avail :( then i went to aeon mlk & saw this :-0
empty everything into the pot & boil till kingdom come!!!

sausage meal
After making the homemade sausages yesterday, we had them for lunch today. I wanted to eat it as if it were in a deli, so i had to make the sides....
somehow, i always end up burning the pine nuts :(
mummy insisted i use straw mushrooms for the gravy =_=
these are a huge lot!

snake in my house :(
it was like super duper scary ok.... we came home from Jusco & i had bought a new fish to replace my dead guppy... so i eagerly opened all the windows in the house before mummy make a fuss that i play with my fish first & bla bla bla.... & to my horror, there was a snake on the window!!!!
Big D halau it, expected it to be more action packed though =_=
homemade sausages
it has been Big D's life long dream to make his own sausages. Over the past 100 years of his Big existance, Big D was forced to eat store bought sausages which were mainly made out of a meat paste where powderized meat flour was mixed with water, stuffed into a tube & sausage it is! one fine day, Big D just couldn't stand it any longer! it's time to make his Big Dream into a Big reality! He gonna make his own sausages!!!!
after several months of YouTube sausage making video watching & searching the entire internet for sausage skins in Malaysia (cos malaysia dun have anything non halal), the day finally came!!! drumroll.............! let the sausage making begin!!!
gingerly grate the ginger
this is a must - sit on floor to mince meat
stick out tongue at meat & if possible, laugh at it, it will make meat tender
pork & beef
mix with sausage fingers, lol
better than kenwood lei!

once your done mixing, you need a Big funnel
stretch the pork intestines
squeeze out all the water
strap em onthe the make shift funnel
let the stuffing begin!
chopsticks will help
there'll be air pockets along the way

i got to pop the air pockets with this needle :-)
once you got all the air out,
you getta do the twist!
twisting too hard result in sausage explosion :(
