C-jade express roasted duck, mid valley

Yesterday i bought a duck from Crystal Jade rite.... so now it's time to eat it! mwahahahhaha!!!! mini d told the guy not to cut it up cos she was convienced she could do it herslef. but mini d being mini d is not a punctual person & i ended up bringing the duck back home whole & uncut... btw, i named it CJ Donald ^_^

but after cutting, it was like, o, ok... quite a lot also :) wasn't sure how to heat up a roasted duck, hope it jadi...

the salty sauce & sweet plum sauce... mix together & eat with CJ donald, really yummy!

well, mummy said the duck was pretty good & big D said that it was really cheap for KL standard (RM30.25). i found it juicy & was glad to know that they had a paste like seasoning & use authentic spices... yummy yummy, lucky thing i don't live in KL, else i would have duck everyday! lol... & yes, we were all stuffed, as usual...

kl trip 24/8/10, madam kwan's & crystal jade express

i went to KL today to look for mini d who wanted to bring me on a self sponsored shopping spree =_= she made me lug a tonne of stuff up to KL for her! as if only in mlk can buy jusco detergent, babi...

i hate mini d for this.

i found that mini d & her roomies were hooked on RTC items, lol

upon reaching mid valley, we had to solve our primary problem of deciding where to eat =_=

mini d chose madam kwan's cos she claims she needs to eat spicy lemak-ish food since mummy dun wan her to come home in a rush for raya...

crystal jade express had 50% off their duck & CJ la mien xiao long bao had 50% off suckling pig...

wanna eat here on my next trip :)

i didn't have time to go fetch some stuff from mini d's hostel as mini d is always not punctual!!!

we were supposed to go to pavillion as well.... & maybe to the kitchen ware shops in chow kit... well mini d said i should go up again on 1 october to help her pindah barang balik rumah, hahaha...

King's & i Thai Restaurant

i had somehow promised the old farts dudes that i'd bring them to thailand... one dude was supposed to go there for her birthday with her frens but tak jadi... the other dude... it was a bribe to ensure i had a ride home from work over the weekend =_= since i worked like so long (hence the break in blogging) i kinda got a big headache... i woke up kinda early (10am) still with the headache :( so i put on my coolfever (my new best fren) & went back to bed :)

my cool fever... i think the oldies were kinda afraid that the "belanjawan" for today was not gonna get outta bed...

they have a really nice ambience with nice settings too :)

full table set up. gives a "fine-dinning" kinda feel... the chairs are comfy & there are private rooms available.

wow, their order system has floor plan & indicators to which table is vacant! better than micros!

we just had to add our own sauce. it was delicious! i love mieng kam! i can eat 2 plates of these man!

then came my 4 hor d'oeuvre combination :) spring rolls, top hats, bean salad & pandan chicken. all was really yummy but the salad was super duper hot!

green curry. it had "baby egg plant" the pea like thing which mummy said was bitter... it was nice of them to use all boneless chicken but the green curry at My Elephant was creamier, though it did not have much meat.

we ordered a total of 10 items, hehehe...

our waitress, Ms May Zon Oo, was really nice. even though she's from myanmar, she was able to explain thoroughly on the dishes we ordered & how we supposed to eat it :) i gave her a tip & she gave us a flyer with a coupon for a 5% discount on our next trip ^_^v mummy loved it & there IS gonna be a next trip with a different belanjawan this time, lol
