cheesy cheese cheese!!

Aunty suet fun bought us a rare (in Malaysia) type of buffalo milk mozzarella cheese. She got it from village grocer in bangsar ;-0 so anyway, we, being the sua ku kinda food deprived ppl, who never ate such cheese before, had to rely on Google ^_^

we do it my way!!! roast the capsicums ;-)

the 1st cooking thingie since i cut my hair ^_^v

in order to loosen the capsicum from the skin, cover it once it browns & let it cool.

shen ai forced me to make creme caramel =_=

tada!! the caps are ready to jump out of their skins, hahha

thanks to aunty suet fun, we had tiramisu with real mascarpone cheese & mozzerella cheese is now not only a pizza topping in our household, lol... the mozzerella is really smooth & bouncy but not chewy, it has a refreshing taste!

hollywood makeover

I wanna cut my hair cos the weather is freaking hot! i find myself bunning or pony-tailing my hair everyday :( so i found this site where u can get yourself a makeover!!!!

it started out with this....

whitney houston

Mana Suvari

Ashley Olsen

Reese Witherspoon

Eve

Michelle Monaghen

Camelia Belle

Katie Holmes

we can even do male styles with adam lambert

Joe Jonas

chase crawford

& crazy like Lady GaGa!!!!

lol!!! anyway, the pics i use ppt to do cos i'm lazy to open photoshop, so quality not so good. Anyway, the site is quite nice to use, since can draw on make up as well & they let u choose the brands & how much u wanna apply in which pattern too! cool man...

how to make yourself look like a dumb ass

I applied for "any suitable position" & since i'm so perasan, i would not miss out the chance to flash "1st class honours" in the face of prospective employers. I recently deposited my resume in the resume bank of a chain of shopping centers. & i got this reply :

Dear Miss Shen

Thank you for your application.

Currently we have 5 permanent positions to be filled and they are:
Car Park Cashier (3 positions)
Food Court Cashier (2 positions)

I understand from your resume that you are currently holding the position of Waitress/Hostess

And that you are a part time employee.

If you are looking for a permanent job and do not mind the positions that we are offering

Then please contact Ms Assy at 01x-xxx xxxx or Ms notsoassy at 06-2xxxxxx

Thank you.

Regards
Assy
Manager
Group Human Resource

Me thinks u are a dumb ass!!!! so wat if i'm a part time waitress?!?!? Eva longoria worked in wendy's & mark cherry did not offer her to be a cashier in westeria lane!

Human Resource my ass la... If all your cashiers are degree holders, then you must have a PhD to be a manager la? O, sorry, but u ARE a manager & i doubt u even know how to read. Read the above crap again & spot the amount of mistakes! no punctuation & suddenly start a new paragraph with the previous sentence hanging.... why must she press "enter" after she type 1 line???? then why can't assy write "please contact ME"???? why must she refer to herself as a third party????? & I'm not Ms Shen!!!!! never go school ar???? babi, even FB knows how to put ppls names correctly!

Saravana Bhava

Aunty Suet Fun once again brought me for indian breakfast, this time, we had vegetarian version :-)

situated at bangsar, one of the more posh indian restaurants (compared to Sri Paandi, Kanna, etc) they are international ok, check out their website here

an extansive menu, dunno wat to order :(

there's air con & the waiters wear uniforms!!

show kitchen

tables have center pieces & they have a sweet section. can use credit card here too!

solid cultleries. I had Masala Tosai, real filling....

aunty suet fun had Rawa Tosai with Onion.

Masala Tea, very refreshing, not too spicy.

The vegetarian tosai is nice, but i do still like my fish curry, mutton curry & chicken curry gravy on my indian breads :-) especially since i like to flood it, lol.... the tea is really nice, & best of all, as aunty suet fun puts it - you don't come out smelling like tosai!!!

red wine chicken

my mama is a fuchow, so she makes really yummy red wine chicken (ng chow gie) 红酒鸡. However, i hate mee sua in soups, it has to be fried, no soup. Everytime she makes that dish, i'll have mine with bee hoon instead :-)

So mama hasn't been in the culinary scene for a long time. She is now almost 85 years old & does not cook anymore. Not only that, even if she wanted to make the red wine chicken, we don't have the wine lees!!!

My Ah Ma used to make really yummy red wine & give the lees to my mama. But my ah ma has stopped. Hence, it has been ages since we last had red wine chicken. Until...... we got a new supplier!!!! hahahha, no telling cos then we won't be the only special ppl around who can taste this yummy fuchow dish ^_^v

my bee hoon

the red wine chicken soup :)

the red bee hoon - bloody bee hoon, lol

the yummy dish :-)

the soup is made from red rice wine lees, sesame oil, onions, mushrooms, ginger & chicken. Pour some red fuchow wine over before eating. this is good for confinement & birthdays :) i like the birthday version cos mama will put 2 hard boiled eggs into the mee sua ^_^ i like eggs!!!

Wa Zen Japanese Restaurant 和膳, Melaka Raya

the big D

total bill came up to RM 155.25. Big D said it's not bad. Price wise is ok for the food we get. the quality of the food is rather good & it does not feel like a "fake" japanese restaurant. while it is no kampachi, but taste wise, it is rather authentic :-) There were a tonne of japanese customers dining there as well. so if the japs go there, must be quite good rite ^_^v
thanks mummy & Big D for belanjaring ^_^vv
