My Birthday @ number 5

ok ok, i guess this is my last birthday post for this year :( as u know, i'm doing masters =.= & i'm staying with Aunty Suet Fun while i'm in PJ... she's really nice as she will pick me up, feed me & let me stay at her house (number 5) all FOC ^_^ for my birthday, she even voluntarily offered to bring me to thailand seeing that i've never eaten real thai food before :-) when i say thailand, i mean thai restaurant... like all my other post on korea & vietnam & japan, lol.

she even brought mini d over to join us in our thailand trip!! & mini d is... =.='' supposed to get down from the lrt @ taman jaya... pula she go wait at taman bahagia!!! lol, really belong in hospital bahagia, she keeps doing this sort of gila orang mia things, heheheh....

aunty suet fun made this spaghetti au gratin with tuna

chick pea, brinjal, capsicum, cabbage, onion & olive salad, really yummy.

haha, i thought the beans from france were chili padi ^_^

OOoo, mini d got me a Goodie Bag as a present :-)

you might think it's "kiam ka na" to get free stuff & give to ppl for birthday. however, between me & my mini d, we tend to get excited over the free goodies :-) it's like "wow, money cannot buy" or "wa! how u get this man??? without even coming out a cent!! so cool!!!" haha ;-) but this is only between me & my mini d!!!! cos we know what each other likes - to the rest of the world, you better stick to lavish gifts or large amounts of $$$$cash$$$$ to be on the safe side, mwahahhahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^_^

so we finally reached "thailand"

the menu... lunch menu is limited & dinner has more variety

mini d - there was a bit of a crowd...

they had quite a nice setting & i could see what the ppl at other tables were eating ;)

this is "Som Tam Malakor" - RM10

"Hand-pounded Green Papaya with Dried Prawns & Peanuts. Every Thai’s Favourite Salad and a Slimmer’s Secret too!" as written on their menu.... it was super duper hot like shit!!! we had a tiny mouthfull & it sent all 3 of us to dizzy land!!! aunty suet fun told the waiter & he was like "it's normal" so she asked for water & tried another bit.... initially she said she'll pack it home & slowly eat it, then it was too super hot! she told the waitress to try it & they probably got sent to the roof as well cos they din charge for it in the end. the otherwise 50 cent water was also on the house :-) anyway, now we know why they wrote in their menu that "it's a slimmer's secret" - it'll cos tummy discomfort & lead to long hours in the toilet ^_^v

it was really a nice 1st time eating thai food great going to thailand :) lol!!! apart from the super hot... i especially liked the kadok & green curry... i think i wanna con(vince) mummy & big D to bring me to King's Hotel & eat thai food there (since it's the only thailand in melaka) & the chefs are from thailand...

Thanks so much for being so generous Aunty Suet Fun... can see from all the pics we had so much to eat, she even wanted to order some plain rice so we can finish the curry kuah :-) hahah!!! really enjoyed going to thailand ^_^v
