honey dew with sago 密瓜西米露

mumZilla was making noise bout her evaporated milk gonna expire soon & how i have to either drink it all or make something with it! so i decided to make honeydew & sago with it ^_^ we went to pasar malam last week but to my horror, nobody sold honeydews!!! so i got this at Jusco :-) (about a week later)

early in the morning my camera hasn't woken up yet & the air con left mist on my Leica lense...

get a melon the size of your face :-) hehe


skin it, preferably alive.

so pretty!!!

take the middle part & dice em

set aside... blend the non cubed parts with water.

extract juice from the other parts of the honey dew...

boil it...

remember to stir! also put sugar :-)

then add in the almost expired milk :)

looks creamy :) set aside to cool...

wash & boil the sago...

strain it... & let it cool...

once everything is cooled, mix the liquid witht the sago & the honeydew cubes & chill it in the fridge (like duhhh, unless it's snowing outside then you can leave it out)

ta-da!!

looks like pudding :-)

but it's a drink ^_^ enjoy!

at RMH, they make it with coconut milk & ice-cream & dunno what else... but this works for me :-) next, i wanna try the mango varient... but no recipe :(
