stir fried fusilli

when I was in montessori, i would go to mama's house after school & she would cook lunch for me. one of my favourites would be chinese style pasta. Mama would usually use macaroni. she would make a stock from boiling chicken carcass then she's scrape out all the meat from the carcass (cos we're super poor), season with soya sauce & fry it with onions. the macaroni would be swimming in the stock & the meat is used as topping :-) simple but yummy!

when we went to tesco the other day, i saw this tricolour fusilli & couldn't resist. However, i had no chicken carcass :(

boil the pasta

set a side when done..

chop up some carrots

fry some squid, fish meat & make a gravy...

throw in the pasta & garnish.

yummy ;-) i added some chilli flakes too.

o ya, mummy made bacon muffins...

it was indeed yummy yummy & a change from the usual mac & cheese. Big D added pesto sauce to it too.
