i diced the yam before i remembered to take a pix ;(
threw it into the crock pot...
sweet potatoes!!!there's a story behind them... i went to the pasar malam with mummy to obtain these ingredients as mentioned in this post. i chose 2 of each colour (purple & orange). then to my horror, when i peeled out the skin today, all was orange!!! some idiot (i suspect the stall owners) switched my sweet potatoes :( cilaka babi!
gotta use them anyway...
boil till tender, then add gula melaka, pandan & coconut cream & boil till soft.
